LCPA holds meetings for members on a monthly basis from September through May on a Tuesday or Wednesday evening. There are no general membership meetings throughout the summer months. Meetings typically consist of a presentation on a current topic in pharmacy (may or may not include Continuing Education) presented by professionals from a variety of practice settings.
Our meetings provide a unique opportunity to network with pharmacists and technicians that work in the same locale. Together, we can advocate for our patients and change our profession for the better. Join us at our next meeting!

Legislative Day at the Capitol - Date TBA for 2024
Each year, the Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association (PPA) gathers pharmacists, technicians, and pharmacy students at the State Capitol in Harrisburg to promote the profession and educate legislators about pressing issues in pharmacy.
Pharmacists from all areas of Pennsylvania, accompanied by students, meet with local lawmakers to discuss important topics in pharmacy. These include discussing fair reimbursement and transparency, expanding immunizations, and promoting medication synchronization. Students from the schools of pharmacy in Pennsylvania were on hand to conduct health screenings for legislators to demonstrate their knowledge and skills.
